Hi, I'm Blake

I’m a builder, a husband and father, and an occasional ultrarunner. I live in Vermont with my family.Today I’m building A3 and Allodial, working toward a future where people and businesses own the intelligence they build. Our first product, Eddy, is an AI assistant that remembers how a company works and takes work off people’s plates.Previously, I co-founded Lovely, an apartment search platform acquired by RentPath, where I became Chief Product Officer. I then built and led Opendoor’s customer experience division before stepping away to start a family and explore life outside tech.That led to time in Spain and Norway, six months in a van with my wife and daughter, and eventually a home in Vermont. Along the way, I helped the Future of Life Institute grow, helped start a Waldorf school, advised Ergo Impact, and co-founded Fathom, a nonprofit working on AI governance, where I served as its founding CEO.Before all that: motocross, Wharton, and a brief stint on Wall Street.My priorities are my family and leaving the world better than I found it.
